First Reconciliation
Reconciliation is the sacrament by which we sons and daughters of God return to Him after our wilful departure from His presence. When we sin, the Holy Spirit shows us that there is always a way back to the Father through the Son, Jesus Christ. And so, we also teach our children the method by which we are healed so that they too may remain close to the Lord.

Frequently Asked Questions
What if my child cannot attend one of the two sessions?
Completion of the preparation is based upon attendance not only of the two sessions but also of the parent’s presence at the information and registration night in October. Absence from any of the dates will result in a postponment of the child’s first reconciliation and first communion.
Is there a book or some material that I must work through with my child?
No, this year all of the instruction will take place within the two sessions mentioned in the schedule. That being said, it is always a good idea for parents to enhance their child’s formation through home study.
What happens if my child misses the day of reconciliation ?
In the strange event that your child misses the day of reconciliation it will be up to your child to organize their own time to visit this sacrament.
What time should I arrive with my child at the celebration of these sacraments?
10 -20 minutes early. This should give you and your child enough time to enter into a disposition of prayer and encounter with Christ.
Is there a cost?
To cover materials, pay instructors and other items there is a cost of $50 dollars per person.
